Outcomes
The INTEG-RNA project represented a significant effort aimed at convergence in quality of scientific research between low performing EU Member States and their internationally leading counterparts. The project aimed to increase research excellence of the coordinating institution in the particular field of research as a result of the twinning exercise.
The important step towards excellence of RNA cluster and beyond was be small-scale pilot research projects as a media to transfer knowledge from developed partners to CEITEC MU. CEITEC was be able to establish, strengthen and implement techniques and unique expertise available at partner institutions to become RNA excellence research cluster.
All the measures included in INTEG-RNA were designed in order to utilize the experience and best practices of international partners and upgrade scientific excellence and research management/administration at CEITEC MU. Collaborative networking and training activities, and other profile-raising opportunities offered by the INTEG-RNA project raised the staff research profile of the whole consortium.
